Firm name and ABN
Customer data you upload for compliance purposes (names, dates of birth, identity documents, addresses)

Provide and operate the Lead AML platform
Process compliance workflows on your behalf
Send service updates, compliance notices, and account communications

customer data you upload

You remain the data controller for any personal information you upload about your clients. We process this data solely to provide the service you have requested. We do not use your clients' data for any other purpose.

data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

Service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, email, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements
Regulators or law enforcement where required by law
Third-party screening databases (DFAT, and our screening provider Didit) for PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening, including ongoing monitoring of screened clients — only the name and relevant identifiers you provide are submitted
Our identity verification provider (Didit), which processes the ID document images, selfie and liveness check a client submits when you request an automated ID check, and Australian company register data for business checks

data storage & security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is 100% secure; you use the platform at your own risk.

data retention

We retain your account and compliance records for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at info@leadaml.com.au.

your rights

Under Australian privacy law you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Complain about a breach of the APPs
